Neustar is considering opening up the .us space to internationalized domain names (IDNs) in specific languages such as Spanish. This would allow for non-ascii characters, such as é or ó, to be included in the domain name for the first time. Neustar is interested in hearing feedback from the community about whether this is a good idea for the .us space, and if so which languages should be offered.
